The board was informed that Summit County Planning Commission has scheduled a hearing to discuss and possibly act on a proposed Rezone and Master Planned Development application for a campground on lot 1 of Wilderness Acres subdivision 15. This lot is located off of Aspen 20, close to the property we own and use as a burn pit.
The proposed campground has 21 individual pads that could park 2 RVs each. A septic system is proposed that will be used for each pad. The applicant proposes to “condominumize” the site to enable the individual sale of each pad.

The board plans to submit concerns in writing as well as attend the ZOOM hearing and let Summit County know we are against the rezone proposal.
We encourage members to also submit any comments and attend the ZOOM hearing.
