BOD meeting change and Break-ins
MLPOA Board Meetings will not be held at the security cabin this summer. The BOD will continue to meet in Salt Lake City.

Fellow Manor Land Associates:
Recently Manor Lands has experienced a rash of break ins of several cabins, including seven this past weekend of 14/15 June 2008. We are working with Summit County Law Enforcement and are gravely concerned about this. It was discussed at length during the June Board of Director’s meeting, and we are in the process of establishing a security committee to review and adopt methods to enhance our security posture. If you are interested in being a part of this committee, please contact me at the number provided below.

Summit County Law Enforcement was able to obtain fingerprints as well as other information on these break ins. At this time it is the general impression that these acts were performed by young adults. If you have any information to assist in this investigation, please report it to Summit County Law Enforcement.

In the meantime, I would like everyone to please adopt a neighborhood watch attitude. Collectively as a group we have the best ability to deter any further break ins. If you see something out of the ordinary or individuals unrecognizable to you and behaving in a suspicious manner, please call and report this to our Caretaker, Lyle Farley at (435) 642 6263. All information reported should be as factual as possible and include descriptions of the individuals, make/model of vehicles, license plate numbers, etc. Please do not try to deter these individuals yourself.
